North Lake College

Isom, who lives in Irving, is pursuing an associate degree in kinesiology. He is involved in NLC’s Student Government Association, “G Force,” and the college’s Student Leadership Institute; he also serves as a student ambassador. Isom volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, the Association of Black Collegians and the Bear Creek Community Church, including its youth recreation center.

He says, “When you serve others with a generous heart, you grow immeasurably.”
