Moms and Dads: Enroll Your Kids in a DCCCD Summer Camp or Class
Want to help your kids make the most of their summer? Then why not sign them up for a DCCCD class or summer camp? They can learn something new, meet new friends and have fun - all at a price that's parent-friendly.

Read on to learn about the programs available at the college nearest you.

Brookhaven College

Brookhaven will offer programs for children ages 5 to 14, including:

  • Musikgarten summer camps and piano, guitar and choir for children
  • Additional camps focusing on theater, dance, storytelling, fitness, leadership and more

Eastfield College

Eastfield has summer classes and camps for ages 6 months (swimming only) and up. Kids and teens can enjoy:

  • Weeklong music and arts camps
  • A wide range of dance classes, including ballroom, belly, Bavarian, country and salsa
  • Computer, college success and test-prep classes
  • Swimming, tennis and volleyball
  • Novel-writing and storytelling
  • And much more

El Centro College

El Centro is offering three summer camps:

  • Health Career Connection Camp, for students entering 10th or 11th grade
    June 5-June 21 or July 5-July 21
    This camp is designed to introduce students to careers in the growing health care field.
  • Texas Prefreshman Engineering, for girls in 8th through 10th grades
    June 5-July 28
    Girls can receive one elective high school credit and learn about careers in math, science and engineering.
  • eXtreme Techno Camp, for students entering 11th and 12th grades
    June 5-June 30
    Students will build their own Web blog, make a music video and more as they learn about technology careers.

Mountain View College

At Mountain View, kids can participate in:

  • Special academic enrichment classes designed to help prepare kids for the next grade level
  • Weeklong activity camps that include sports, academics, games and other events
  • Classes in dance, gymnastics, robotics, swimming, volleyball and more
