It's time to register for May and Summer I and II credit courses! Regular registration (for all students) started Monday, April 24.
Important note: Telephone registration (including reviewing your schedule) will not be available for the May or Summer terms. Please enroll on-campus or online via eConnect.
Make the Most of May
Are you a highly motivated student who can devote time to an intense, fast-paced program of study? Then consider enrolling in a May term course. This "minimester" lets you earn three or more credit hours in just a few weeks.
The May term class schedule is different at each college but typically lasts from mid-May through early June. May term course offerings vary by college also; subjects include ceramics, algebra, beginning golf, English and many more.
Regular registration began Monday, April 24, for all students; the length of regular registration varies by college.
Learn Something New This Summer
Chilling out by the pool may be your No. 1 goal this summer ... but it's also a great time to earn college credit. Dallas County Community Colleges offer two summer terms: Summer I, which begins June 6, and Summer II, which starts July 12.
Regular registration for Summer I started April 24 and continues through June 4; for Summer II, registration dates are April 24 through July 11. Please note that our offices will be closed Monday, May 29, and Tuesday, July 4, but you can still register online on those days if you are eligible to do so.
Prepare to Succeed
If you're new to college, plan to start the registration process early. You must complete the application, orientation, assessment and advising process before you can register for classes. (Learn more about the admissions process.)
If you have earned credits from another college or university, you'll need to complete the application and transfer process, even if you just want to take one course to transfer back to your home university. (Find out why and learn how to enroll.)
Students with an eConnect login can plan their schedules on eConnect with Plan My Schedule, and all students can browse DCCCD credit classes or search for credit classes using eConnect.
You can register online if you are eligible, or register on-campus.
If you are new to DCCCD, we strongly recommend that you register in person at the college you plan to attend so you can get information about course prerequisites, the degrees we offer, the Texas Success Initiative (TSI), tuition and other important topics.
Have questions about registering? Contact your college's Admissions/Registrar's Office. We'll be glad to help you get ready for your next learning experience.
