Hurricane Updates

DCCC employees, students, board members and friends have mobilized a number of efforts to help those affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

DCCC Chancellor Jesus "Jess" Carreon" is sending occasional updates to the DCCC community about relief efforts and ways to help.

DCCC Foundation - Donations are needed immediately for the foundation's Student Emergency Need Scholarship Fund. This fund will be used to help students affected by the hurricanes and also needs to be replenished for future emergencies.

Immunizations for response teams - DCCC staff members who may participate in response teams to areas affected by the hurricanes should be aware of these recommendations for immunization.

campusrelief.org - This site serves as an information clearinghouse for both institutions and students in the wake of Katrina and Rita. View a list of affected campuses or find resources for students, faculty and staff.
