DCCCD Budget Announcement - Jan. 27, 2003
The expected loss of state revenues for the Dallas County Community College District is $7.4 million. This cut also comes at a time when our budget is stretched significantly by the demand for classes and services because of our increasing enrollment.

The Dallas County Community College District will recommend a proposed tuition increase for the summer 2003 semester to its Board of Trustees during their Feb. 4 meeting.

Students interested in courses offered by the Dallas County Community College District for its popular "Maymester" and summer I and II sessions will be able to enroll in classes this year, in spite of a state-mandated budget cut that has prompted DCCCD officials to explore ways to reduce costs and save money.
