Lady Bears take Division III championship tournament by storm.

Featuring local area performers, the weekly recital series at Brookhaven College returns for the fall semester, offering opportunities for students and the public to enjoy free performances by professional musicians at small concerts on the Brookhaven College main campus.

“From the Top,” the hit public radio program that NBC-TV’s “Today” calls ‘classy reality programming,’ will record a live show Aug. 28 at 8 p.m. at Brookhaven College School of the Arts.

Dr. Alice W. Villadsen, Ph.D., has led the college through many changes and achievements during her seven-year tenure as president of Brookhaven College.

Brookhaven College will benefit from a matching grant awarded by the Meadows Foundation to Head Start of Greater Dallas toward the construction of a model preschool education center at the college.
