Ozone season is here once again. “At risk” individuals have learned to cope by staying indoors during the day, but is this dirty haze more than an annoyance? Can our air quality really be improved?
On June 15, the state of Texas will issue a new action plan to address “non-attainment” status for the air quality of nine counties in North Texas.
The U.S. Green Building Council — North Texas Chapter invites you to a panel discussion to better understand the factors that have contributed to deterioration of the air we breathe and what can be done to reverse this trend that impacts the quality of life for all.
Cost:
- DCCCD students - free with student I.D.
- USGBC members - $10
- Emerging Green - $5
- Nonmembers - $20
- Non-DCCCD Students - $10
