If you're pursuing a construction-related degree or certificate, don't miss out on the opportunity to apply for a $1,000 scholarship (PDF - 21KB) being offered by the National Association of Women in Construction Dallas Chapter.

Applicants must be a second-year student in a construction-related college or trade program. (A student with a certificate from a one-year training program is eligible.) Applicants must demonstrate financial need. Scholarship recipients must maintain a 2.5 GPA each semester.

The application deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 30, for the spring 2012 semester.
