The dynamic nature of economic development and labor market growth in Dallas County calls for a collaborative approach in providing workforce training and skill enhancement training to meet industry needs. The CE Deans Council was organized to maintain a comprehensive compliance model, ensuring the integration of industry standards and quality instructional components for workforce development and training, while promoting rapid college response to industry needs.
The CE Deans Council advises the Vice Presidents Council about Continuing Education issues, reviews proposed CE program curriculum and serves as a resource to CE faculty and staff.
The CE Deans Council normally meets on the third Friday of each month on a rotational basis throughout the district colleges from 9 a.m. until noon.
The Vice Presidents Council is organization sponsor.
