The council comprises representatives from each of the seven Dallas County Community College District colleges, the LeCroy Center and the District Service Center.

Its purpose is to:

  • Coordinate the efforts among the colleges’ business offices to provide student financial services.
  • Design and refine processes for the uniform entry of transactions into the financial system.
  • Serve as an extension of District Financial Services in spearheading special projects.
  • Make recommendations to the Vice Presidents Business Services (VPBS) Council and serve as an advisor group to other councils.

The Business Office Council meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

The council is authorized by the VPBS Council under the sponsorship of the executive vice chancellor of business affairs.
