Academic Advising Council (AAC)

State and local rules require attention to student goal setting, correct transfer information, course placement, skills placement and pre-requisite placements. Consistency among the colleges of DCCCD in enforcing these requirements is essential. The Academic Advising Council’s purpose is to serve students’ needs, as well as to ensure that state-mandated regulations are followed.

The functional council is sponsored by the Vice Presidents Council.

Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at alphabetically rotating locations.
