Marketing/Communications Council

 
 

The Marketing/Communications Council discusses, recommends and implements the comprehensive marketing and communications functions that are an important element for DCCCD colleges and the district. These functions are:

  • to deliver collateral materials that serve as tools for recruitment, registration and retention
  • to provide counsel and recommendations concerning effective communications for both internal and external audiences
  • and to promote the programs, faculty, students and alumni — and their accomplishments — in ways that reflect DCCCD’s mission to educate students and partner with our communities

The council, sponsored by the vice chancellor of public and governmental affairs, also serves as consultants and/or members of other councils and committees to implement best practices for communications, advertising, promotions, Web/Internet, enrollment management and media relations and promotes customer service across the district. 

Meetings are at 9:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of every month during the regular academic year at the District Office.
